The Tiger - Rainforest Themed Snooze is coming Friday, April 27, 2012! It’s the ultimate sleepover for those who hear the call of the wild.
Malayan tigers are the smallest of all tiger subspecies. They are elusive, small in number and struggling to survive in the wild. Enjoy an evening of games, crafts, live animals and in the morning hear the roar of the Malayan tiger. Activities are geared for children 6 and up and a parent or guardian must attend.
We can only take a limited number of people and we are taking reservations on a first-come, first-served basis, so contact us to reserve your spot today!
Thanks to the more than 8,000 people who joined us for the Grand Opening celebration of ASIA - TRAIL of THE TIGER April 2 and 3. The dynamic new exhibit features wildlife from across Asia, including Malayan tigers, Asian small-clawed otters, orangutans, siamangs, Malayan tapirs, binturongs and a colorful collection of birds!

Help BUILD OUR ANIMAL WELLNESS CAMPUS!

The Zoo needs a larger animal hospital and diet kitchen, and you can help! The new veterinary hospital and animal wellness campus will not only deliver the highest level of animal care, but will also provide an educational experience. The campaign needs to raise $4 million to finance the project, but roughly $3 million has already been raised.
Book a children's birthday party at the Virginia Zoo. We make the planning easy!
